Hope is a licensed professional clinical counselor with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Justice and Law (Criminology Focus), from The American University in Washington, D.C. and a Master’s of Science degree in Community Counseling from Georgia State University. Hope has worked in crisis intervention, and has extensive experience as a private practice clinician and consultant.
Half of Hope's career has been spent specifically counseling First Responders. She has provided countless hours of service to Police, Fire and Dispatch Departments, with expertise in Annual Wellness Consultations, Critical Incident Response, Individual/Couples Counseling, and a wide variety of Trainings on subjects such as Suicide Prevention, Sleep Health, Work/Life Balance, Resilience and Healthy Coping Strategies.
Hope is passionate about her work, diligently educating and counseling clients to promote increased personal insight, strength in relationships, and improved resilience. She has had success in helping First Responders achieve greater levels of professional and personal satisfaction, as they navigate the unique challenges of their jobs.
